Round 4 awaits alongside MotoGP at the iconic – and unique – venue in a region steeped in motorcycle history
The Northern Talent Cup paddock is gearing up for a trip to the iconic Sachsenring for Round 4, which means taking to the same stage as MotoGP. A fantastic weekend awaits at the German GP, and it’s three German riders who are setting the pace so far in 2025.
After two more victories were collected at Most last time out, making it five and counting for the season, Fynn Kratochwil (MASS SPORTS Racing by JRP Motorsport) leads the title race by 43 points with four rounds remaining.
The only race Kratochwil hasn’t won is Race 2 at Oschersleben, so can Thias Wenzel (Kiefer Racing) or Robin Siegert (Motorace Academy Germany) halt their compatriot’s charge? It was those three riders who made up the podium spots in both races in Czechia, so in front of their home fans, they should prove tough to beat again.
Lorenzo Pontillo (Belgian Motorcycle Academy) sits level on points with third place Siegert ahead of the Sachsenring after P5 and P4 finishes at Most, while Anina Urlass (Kiefer Racing) will be wanting to find her start of season form when the #21 arrives on home turf.
Can other stars challenge for the podium places at the Sachsenring? You wouldn’t bet against it! Make sure you tune into both NTC races from Germany on Saturday and Sunday to find out.
