Northern Talent Cup set for the Sachsenring

16 June 2022

The field gets ready for another two showdowns in Germany

Not long after another classic round at Oschersleben, it’s time for the 2022 Northern Talent Cup to head east for Round 3 as the legendary Sachsenring awaits. There’s a fair gap at the top of the table now for Hungarian Rossi Moor (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team), but there’s plenty to play for this season as another 50 points are on the table this round – and another 50 at Assen just a week later.

First though, focus turns to the Sachsenring. Moor will be looking to extend his advantage, but Loris Veneman (TeamNL Open Line) is on a good roll despite some bad luck so the Dutchman will likely be a key rival once more. Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) also had a more rollercoaster Round 2 and will be keen to hit back with two good finishes, likewise Moor’s teammate Matteo Masili – although the Italian arrives from that stunning second place, only losing out to the veteran Hungarian.

Dustin Schneider (Goblin Racing), meanwhile, is the leading home hero as the NTC races in Germany once more, and he opened his podium account last time out. Can that be a springboard for more good form at the Sachsenring? Rookie Rocco Sessler (MCA Racing) and Luca Göttlicher (JRP Junior Academy Team), two more home heroes, have been putting in some solid finishes that they’ll be keen to repeat as well.

Tune in for another two races as the NTC saddles up at the Sachsenring, with Race 1 on Saturday at 17:25 (GMT +2), before Race 2 on Sunday at 16:30.
