Please read all the information in this section covering the rules so that you fully understand the inscription process. More information will be provided to the teams in the Handbook that will be sent once the application has been accepted.
HOW TO REGISTER
- STEP 1: CREATE AN ACCOUNT
- STEP 2: LOG IN & FILL IN THE INSCRIPTION FORM
- Once your account has been verified you will be able to LOG IN and provide your details through in the Inscription Form.
- Some of the information on the form must be filled in at the start, but there are some sections that can be filled in later on. Teams will be able to access this inscription form whenever need to change/add information.
DEADLINES
Full year Entries:
- Maximum full year entries for 2025: 26 riders
- Deadlines for full year entries: 15th October – 25th December. After the deadline, registered users will be able to access their inscription form, but no new full year entries will be admitted.
- Confirmation of permanent riders: No later than 15th January 2025.
- Final registration for selected riders: No later than January 31st, 2025
RIDER CRITERIA
Age: Date of birth between January 1st, 2006, and March 28th, 2011. Rider must be 14 before the Official test. Do not apply if you are not in this age group. Passport will be checked.
Road Racing Experience: Please provide us with details of the races and championships your riders are competing in this season. We are not only interested in dedicated road racers, those who ride dirt bikes and/or motocross bikes may also be developing the riding skills that translate into success on tarmac.
Nationality: Riders from all nationalities can apply but we are looking for new talents from central and northern Europe.
Start Numbers: Please give three options for the start number, these will be then selected in order of arrival. The number you select must be between 2-99.
Number of riders per team: Teams will be able to add more than one rider to their form so that all the team’s riders are included in the same form.
TEAM CRITERIA
An individual rider can apply but must decide a Team Name and must have one Team Manager and at least one mechanic and one legal guardian. A team should have a Team Manager who will be the main contact with the organization.
A team can be formed by a rider, and 2 mechanics which can be family or acquaintances.
It is NOT necessary to be part of an existing NTC team to participate in the championship.
For the application, the team does not need to create a legal company, however, once the team is selected to participate in the 2026 Season it MUST create a company under a required legal form to be able to proceed with all the necessary transactions.
The team has the responsibility to comply with all the requirements detailed in the Team Handbook.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Official Calendar:
- The season will most probably consist of 1 preseason test + 7 rounds.
- The calendar will be published after MotoGP, WorldSBK & IDM calendars have all been published.
- Track activity for race events (25 or 30 min sessions):
- MotoGP™, WorldSBK or BSB Events:
- Sessions will be 25 min.
- 2 FP + 1 QP + 2 Races.
- IDM events:
- Sessions will be 30 min.
- 2 FP + 2 QP + 2 Races.
- In some events it will be possible to have an additional 30 min Practices.
- Governing body: FIM Europe
- Riders must hold a valid CCR Continental licence (annual or one event), issued by a Federation regularly affiliated to FIM Europe or to another of the FIM Continental Unions (CONU).
- For riders from ACCR, SMF, DMSB, FMS, KNMV and NMF a start permission is also required as they are not included in the FIM Risk Insurance system. This list could change, final 2026 NTC Selected riders will be informed if they need a starting permission.
- Race direction:
- 1 Dorna Representative + 1 Race Director + NTC FIM Europe or FMNR Representative.
- Technical Scrutineering:
- 1 Senior Manager + 1 Technical Director provided by ADAC.
- 1 Executive + 1 coordinator + 1 Rider coach provided by Dorna.
DEPOSIT
- A 1,500 EURO per rider deposit will be requested to all the permanent entries for 2026.
- Conditions:
- Deposits need to be made before the 15th of January 2026 to be able to secure the spot.
- If more applications than available spots are received, the Northern Talent Cup selection committee will choose the final team and riders using the following points and according to the expertise of the committee:
- Central and Northern European nationals
- Riders with previous experience
- If the application is rejected the deposit will be returned
- However, if the team decides to withdraw on their own account before or during the season, the NTC will retain the deposit.
ENTRY FEE
Mandatory season entry fee per rider: 1,250 EURO + VAT (if applicable). Will be requested after the confirmation of participation.
TEAMS’ BENEFITS
- Dorna will cover the costs of all track activity during the 8 official events.
- Teams will be offered special conditions by Honda, please refer to the bike & racing kit section.
- At each event each team/rider will receive the following items free of charge:
- Designated space in the NTC tent with the following characteristics:
- Space for a 2-rider team: 6,55 m x 3,50 m.
- Teams can personalize the panels at their own cost.
- The cost of personalization will be paid to Dorna and the price will be subject to the amount of personalization required by the team.
- Table and chairs.
- Compressed air.
- Electricity.
- Riders will have a separate changing room where the rider briefings will be done.
- 1 Pit-Lane trolley per rider containing tools, pit-board & generator (loaned).
- PIRELLI Tyres: Pirelli will supply the sufficient amount of tyres for the riders to complete the 2026 season. Each team will only purchase 3 sets of tyres to cover the Pre-Season Test.
- MOTUL (lubricant and cleaning products):
- Test: 1 welcome kit per rider.
- Rounds: 1 racing kit per rider per race event.
- PANTA: fuel (pre-determined quantities)
A technical Information Bulletin will be published at the beginning of season containing the updated materials provided by the NTC Partners and Suppliers for the 2026 season.
TEAMS’ OBLIGATIONS
- REGULATIONS:
- Technical & Sporting regulations must be obeyed by every team/rider, if not sanctions will apply.
- All bikes will have the same specs and the engines will be sealed.
- HELMETS:
- Riders must use the helmets provided by the official supplier, no other brand will be permitted.
- Any decorations on the helmets must be approved by Dorna and the provider.
- Once the 3 FOC helmets have been used, riders will be able to purchase new helmets at a discounted price.
- SPONSORS:
- Teams are welcome to look for their own sponsors and will have their space, however they cannot be in conflict with any of the NTC Partners:

TEAMS’ COSTS
- Entry fee (paid to Dorna) + racing license (paid to the federations).
- Purchase of the motorbike + kit at the start of the season through the designated official dealer.
- The sole motorcycle allowed is the Honda NSF250R Moto3™.
- It will be mandatory for the 26 riders to own a motorcycle + kit.
- Teams will need to come to the official test with the fairing and leathers fully decorated as it is where the official pictures will be taken.
- The price for bike + kit will be paid directly to MCA Racing:
- Bike: 11,320 EUR + VAT + Transport.
- Kit: 3,500 EUR + VAT + Transport (discounted price for new riders/teams).
- Bike + Kit: 14,820 EUR + VAT + Transport.
- Kindly be aware that from the 2025 season, new exclusive technical partners may be introduced. These components have not yet been included in the racing kit.
- Purchase of crashed and spare parts (available at the tracks through designated official dealer).
- Transporting their bikes to each event.
- Purchase of transponder, tyre warmers and starting machine.
- Travel costs for the rider + team.
- Rider technical equipment (first three helmets FOC).
- Pirelli tyres for test:
- Teams must purchase 3 extra tyre sets for the test (3 sets will be provided by Dorna).
- All riders will follow the same scheme of changing the tyres at the test.
- If finally, less than 6 sets are used, the team will be able to keep the extra sets for their personal testing needs.
CREDENTIALS
- TEAM Passes
- These passes will have access to:
- Paddock at all NTC Events (including MotoGP™ & WorldSBK).
- NTC Tent at all times.
- Service Road during NTC sessions.
- Pit-Lane during NTC sessions.
- NTC Grid for all NTC races.
- Each team will receive PERMANENT TEAM passes for mechanics + rider(s) + staff.
- Quantities will be pre-determined according to the number of riders per team.
- GUEST Passes
- These passes will have access to:
- Paddock at all NTC Events (including MotoGP™ & WorldSBK).
- NTC Tent at under invitation by NTC Organizational Staff.
- Grid badges can be added to these passes.
- Quantities will be pre-determined according to the number of riders per team and will depend on which is the coinciding event.
PRIVACY POLICY
Any personal data will be processed by DORNA SPORTS, S.L., as a Data Controller, according to the applicable Privacy Policy.
